NEW Bottle Cap Bows... CUTE PRINCESSES

Hey.... these are the first four Princess Bottle Cap bows I'm adding to my collection... they are so fun to make, match, etc...

Available at http://www.chumbaleigh.com/
I have a ton of new images I'm playing with for Bottle Cap bows.. these, so far, are my favorite to make. They are 100% custom... all the time... Of course I plan on replicating them for orders and craft fairs... but you can get just about any theme bow you want making these.

I made a soccer one and a personalized Easter one for my daughter. Oh and I made Mardi Gras ones for my daughter for her party at school... There are absolutely no limits when making these...

Another example is a friend bought an outfit for a present. We took a picture of the cute monkey on the shirt, resized, cropped, printed and ... we had a custom M2M (made to match) hair bow... SO MUCH FUN.

So check out my site for more, contact me directly... anything you need, I can make.

Oh and these bows come with a 3.5 inch bow with a 1 inch bottle cap (standard) or a new mini cap bow with a 2 inch bow and 1/2 inch bottle cap ☺

Thanks for checking this out and please pass it on...

I've also been working on Bow Tie style headbands. They measure about 2.5 inches across... and are attached to skinny 1/8 elastic. Great for little ones. I'll have pics up soon, but they come in just about every color and print available.

So on to "real life"... it's Monday morning, weather is yucky, but at least it's not snow... and I'm starting to get ready for a spring craft show.

Any feed back on anything... would be greatly appriciated.. oh and my site will be ready any minute now...:)

Picture Day - And some new things

So today I'm going to attempt to have my daughter model a few of my hair accessories. I have a vision... but as always things don't always go as planned... so my agenda for today is to make a few new accessories for her to model, take pictures... hopefully some that are usable and go from there... we'll see how that pans out. I'll post pics tomorrow!!!

Here are a few more things I made. This is a Stephanotis  flower with bead centers with either a french barrette back or a flat alligator clip.... Great for weddings and communions. A lovely addition to any special dress or outfit! Check them out at my Esty Store.... links below!!!

Yesterdays stuff

Ok. Yesterday I made a new woven heart clippie, shamrock clippie and a yellow flower. Pictures to follow... I was to lazy to take them yesterday after shovelling..

My daughter is home sick so I'm not sure what will get done today but here's my goal: bitty bows on clippies... and clippie sets. Maybe a sparkle set like these in all different colors! Girls love BLING! At least I know mine does.

Only $2.50

And I'm getting really anxious with the web site coming... So much to do!!!

More snow... and what I'm making today.

Ok... 19 more inches of snow today... and we're not done for the winter yet. So glad we have a snowblower... and last night filled both flat tires :)

The snow was taller than me!!

But onto hair clips... today I'm going to make a woven heart hair clip... for Valentine's Day of course. I'll post pictures when I'm done!

So excited... web store coming soon

I'm so excited... the web design process has started. I can't wait to have to get that up and running.

Not sure what our launch day will be.... hopefully by President's Day so I can have a sale...

So a big shout out to Pink Daisy Design. Can't wait to see what beautiful design she comes up with!!!

Another Snowy Day... urggg

Ok. So my blog is/was going to be about how or what I make as far as hair accessories... but I figured, why not write about whatever... it's a blog...

So today, January 26th 2011 we are getting hit with MORE SNOW... up to 10 more inches on what we already have. The schools have used up all their snow days (which they may have a snow day tomorrow if this doesn't stop) and are now talking about an early dismissal which is just pure chaos.

This is what we're dealing with:

Atleast it should be sunny after it snows tomorrow!!!

Back soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to our First Blog

Hi and welcome to our blog.

I'd love to share my handmade hair accessories (yes I know the Internet is flooded) but why not right!!! I enjoy making them. My daughter (who is 5) loves designing them... so it's just fun!

Here'a just a tiny bit of what I do:

My daughter loves these and calls them her "collection" and actually plays with them as dolls as well as hair clips.

The ribbon is hand cut, heat sealed to prevent fraying and glued onto a 2 prong hair clip. They do wonderful at craft fairs :) and I offer them at $5.00 each or 5 for $20... so $5 savings... can't beat that right?????? And I plan on venturing out and making other character types as well. I have made Tinkerbell and her friend fawn... I'll post those pictures in my next blog... but I'm going to make the rest of Tinkerbells friends to have a set.

Well thanks for looking... and reading our first blog.
